Strength and Conditioning

Cory Joseph has been an assistant strength and conditioning coach for Long Beach Poly since the spring of 2008. Prior to working at Poly, he worked as the Head Physical Fitness Coordinator at New Zealand’s International Rugby Institute. During his two years at the Rugby Institute, he worked with over a dozen professional athletes, wrote a Periodization Training manual used by several professional teams, and hosted numerous workshops on strength training, and motivation. During his college career at the University of Rhode Island, he coached Men’s Rugby, served as a test a measurements facilitators for Women’s Softball. In November of 2010 he opened his own fitness center in Signal Hill.
