Jeff Turley

Coach Turley started coaching at Poly in 2001 as the defensive coordinator/linebacker Coach. Prior to coming to Poly he coached at Millikan and St Anthony. He just finished his 10th season as the jackrabbit DC. During those ten seasons he has been blessed to coach 4 CIF championship teams and been a part of the greatest defensive game ever – a 2-0 victory in the semi-finals against Orange Lutheran.

Jeff Turley, is a Teacher at LB Poly he is also the Varsity Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers Coach.

Jeff Graduated from Long Beach Millikan High School in 1983 he played football for three years and Baseball for one year attending Long Beach City College, Cal State University Long Beach, and Cal. State University Dominguez Hills.

He obtained his Teaching Credential 1993 He played football in College.

Married to his College sweethart Julie. Jeff and Julie have three beautiful children Jeff jr. 15, Killian 12, Samuel 9. he spends time with his family playing football, Baseball, Soccer, and camping.

Jeff has 20 years of coach Experience. Three years at Millikan Frosh & JV, Nine years at St. Anthony Three as Head Coach

Two as Asst. Head Coach six as Defensive Coordinator eight years at Poly as Defensive Coordinator.

Number One Coaching Philosophy: Prepare for everything, be surprised by nothing! If they can not score then we can not lose, so we must be able to adapt and overcome what ever they attack us with, take a punch and fire back with fury.

My most rewarding coaching experience Every year is seeing young men go on to college!
