
Charles "Chuckie" Miller C/O 1983: Most Memorable LBP Football Experience: " Playing with the great athlete and person Kirk Jones."
Charles "Chuckie" Miller has an apparent confidence that engulfs those around him the moment he walks into a room. He was born on May 9, 1965 in Anniston, AL and raised in Long Beach, CA. With an aura of confidence and perfection, it is no wonder that Chuckie Miller has accomplished feats as a stand-out high school athlete, college athlete, NFL athlete, personal trainer, business owner, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
As a member of the LB Poly class of 1983, Chuckie garnered many accolades for his stellar athletic performance. During his senior year Chuckie was honored as an All-CIF, All-City, Moore League, and South Coast All American Athlete. Like many Jackrabbit greats before him, he competed in the North/South Shrine All Star game and received recognition as a Best in the West Athlete. Upon graduation Chuckie attend UCLA and where he was a four year starter. As a two time Rose Bowl Champion, Chuckie was chosen to play in the East/West Shrine All Star Game. In 1985 he was named Most Improved Player of the Year and was voted Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year in 1986.
In 1987 Chuckie was drafted to the Indianapolis Colts in the 8th round.
Chuckie services his community as a philanthropist with active participation in the "Say Yes to Life Seminar" and "How Can I Make a Difference in my Community Essay Competition" which provides inner-city children with the technology needed to aid their educational aspirations. Chuckie currently resides in Signal Hill, CA and is the proud father of three daughters, Amber, Chanel and Courtnie. His motto for life is "You can knock me down seven times and I will get up eight. I will never, never give up." He is currently a Real Estate Investor, owner of several fitness centers and wellness business, as well as CEO of Fortune Hunter Inc. For his maverick abilities as an entrepreneur and his continued pursuit of excellence, we are proud to induct Chuckie Miller into the LB Poly Football Hall of Fame.
